SIBERIAN CAT DIET AND NUTRITION

Picture
It’s important to feed your cat properly. We’ve all heard the saying “You are what you eat” and understand the consequences of overeating and bad diet in humans, and cats are no different..
What and when you feed your cat can determine how long they live, their quality of life, and whether they suffer diseases down the road. In a wild nature Cats are catching up their small preys and eat them about 15 times a day,. but in our daily life we have a different situation. Your furry friend depend on food what you provide.
Since Cats are carnivores , their menu should be consist of almost protein and only a few amount of carbs about 5%.
Personally, and almost all Siberian Breeders do not relay on Cats dry food I feed my Cats by raw fresh diet, chicken breast ,chicken gizzards, hearts, turkey meat, no bones, no fat, no skin, raw beef, lamb, fish ( no ground beef),  chunk by  pieces. For raw diet , it is a good idea to freeze meat before. Do not afraid to give large, whole pieces of meat. Cats are designed to rip off met apart easily and ingest it, it's very healthy for their gums and teeths. You have to remember Cats are hunters, they do not need carbs.
For your kitten keep his raw meals at least 2 times daily. In our busy life dry food is very convenient, but do not relay on it. I am always want to ask people, would you eat dry food all day long?
Dry food is usually full of ingredients that are bad for cats. Dry kibble contains a large amount of plant based food, such as grains, vegetables which are not healthy for cats. Dry food doesn't have enough animal protein.
We recommend you is always to feed your cat either natural meat raw food or canned wet food.
An adult cat should get around 200 grams of meat per day and kittens should not be limited in food intake.
